The Broadway is a mixed-use development by Northacre Properties, who worked with Squire + Partners to transform the former New Scotland Yard site in the heart of SW1 in London.
Now home to six towers and a central boulevard, The Broadway is a collection of 258 luxury apartments including a collection of penthouses, sophisticated office space and, at ground level, a myriad of retail outlets and restaurants all with a focus on the wellbeing of the community. The boulevard, to be known as Orchard Place has been created to give access from Victoria to St. James’s for the first time.
The show apartment's interior done by Natalia Miyar Atelier boasts a soft colour palette and encapsulates the elegant lifestyle of a youthful, clean-living urban resident.
“My design for the first show apartment aims to encapsulate the spectacular views of historical Westminster through The Broadway’s floor-to-ceiling unique diamond windows. These panoramic views are celebrated from an oversized dining table from which to truly entertain in style against a spectacular backdrop across the iconic London skyline,” says Natalia Miyar.
In the living space, there is an interplay between high-gloss lacquer and matt wood surfaces that adds a glamorous note while generous soft-form armchairs invite relaxation. Vintage travertine coffee tables sit alongside strong sculptural furniture shapes that characterise this room. Collage artworks from Miami have been sourced for the walls complementing the pared-back look.
